Dye Sublimation

Dye Sublimation

Advertisers and exhibitors are beginning to take advantage of the overall benefits of using dye-sublimated fabrics for indoor and outdoor applications. The uses are extensive, as dye sublimation can be used for:

  • Backdrops
  • Trade show graphics
  • Backlit signage
  • POP banners
  • Outdoor flags
  • Much more
Dye sublimation fabrics offer numerous advantages over conventional inkjet. Dye inks allow for a wider color gamut, resulting in brighter and more vibrant colors. This combination of dye inks and fabrics appeal directly to the senses with eye appealingly rich colors and the touch and feel of high-end quality. Fabrics can be finished in many ways, including silicone edges (SEG) that can be easily snapped into frames, light boxes and displays for quick setup or change out.

Fabrics generally weigh less than conventional banners, and they can be folded without creasing, leading to lower shipping costs and ease of transportation. Other important benefits of dye-sublimated fabrics include being odorless and more environmentally friendly. This makes it suitable for schools, hospitals, malls, and all interior applications.
